Yesterday we all took Leica on a walk to a park where Cami could play and release a little energy. I think she actually ran the whole way there, but then needed to be carried half way back. It was so cute watching Cami walk Leica and Ian had a great time chilling out in his stroller. He has become so intrigued by everything, smiling constantly, attempting to communicate with his little coos and scanning the view around him. Everything is so green and beautiful this time of year. It felt great to get outside and get a little sun.

This week we took laura and cami to our favorite pizza place in Boulder, Nick n Willy's. Cami also had a play date with her new friends and all three girls held baby Ian. Cami is a big helper with Ian...helping with diaper changes and bath time. When Ian is sleeping auntie char and cami play and as soon as Ian wakes up, Cami says, I'll get him! Then she runs in and imitates what she sees me do with Ian...."ahhhh" as she strokes his head and sees if he wants his nook.

Hi everyone! This week has been busy and went by so fast! I only have two more weeks at home untill I go back to work part time. In these next two weeks we have my sister and niece visiting. Cami is so fun and full of life. She got to hold her cousin Ian for the first time at the airport. She is such a helper girl wanting to help me give Leica a bath, wash my car and change Ian's diapers. Ian is doing great, cooing frequently when we talk to him. We think he is going to be a little talker and quite a busy little boy. He loves being held and is most talkative in the morning when he is cuddling with mom and dad in bed.
Here are some recent photos of fun times with Cami and Laura. We picked them up at the airport on Friday and on Saturday we went up to Rocky Mountain National Park with some friends of ours here in Colorado. Cami played with some new friends by the River, while the rest of us enjoyed the great weather.

Yesterday Jim, Ian and I took a trip up to Aspen for the day. Jim met with some wedding coordinators at Aspen resorts while Ian and I walked around downtown Aspen. We had a great day and Ian was such a great baby! By the end of the day, Ian had enough of riding in his car seat, but did well considering it was a 4 hour trip up and back. Today we are home and Ian is quite happy just to smile at us and kick his little arms and legs around.

Jim bought Ian a new shirt this week. I thought it was too cute, so I had to take a few photos this morning. Ian is continuing to smile more and more every day and will now coo back at me if i initiate it. He is also starting to get some more hair! Blonde of course considering his parents. Right now his eyes are dark blue, but they could still change. He is looking more and more like a little man and less like a newborn. Here are the photos I took this morning.

Ok grandma and grandpas, here are the pictures you've been asking for. We were able to capture his smile on camera this morning. He is usuallly all smiles first thing in the morning. It is so much fun just to look at him and smile! What a happy little boy. There is no doubt that he has his social smile and loves his mommy and daddy! The first few shots are of bath time, cause I thought they were so precious, and the smiles are towards the bottom. Enjoy!
